Cambridge University Ballet Club

The CU Ballet Club is the only ballet-focused student society at the University of Cambridge. We are a large and vibrant society offering a range of classes to students and non-students in a variety of locations across Cambridge, seven days a week. We organise master workshops and produce multiple performances each year. We regularly collaborate with other prominent groups such as the Cambridge Graduate Orchestra and the Cambridge University Philharmonic Orchestra, and we have previous performed at high-profile Cambridge events, such as Kings Affair, Jesus May Ball, and Sidney Sussex Arts Festival, in addition to our annual performance at the West Road Concert Hall. The CU Ballet Club also has an international partnership with the Havard Ballet Company.

  • Our website gives you all the information you may need to know about the club, including the current committee, timetable and new online payment scheme for classes that is launching this year.

  • Give our official Facebook page/group a follow for all our recent updates on our weekly classes and any other events to get involved with. We also have an official Instagram account @cambridgeuniballetclub for connecting with you too!

The mission of the CU Ballet Club is to promote the art of ballet at Cambridge and beyond by challenging its traditional exclusivity. We aim to increase accessibility to the art form by providing classes, events and performances frequently and at affordable rates.
