A Midsummer Night's Dream
On Thursday 16th June 2016 the Ballet Club presented A Midsummer Night's Dream!
Love got out of hand when four runaway lovers found themselves in an enchanted forest, embroiled in a feud between Oberon and Titania, the King and Queen of fairies. Mischief-maker Puck was on-hand with a wicked sense of humour and a love potion capable of making anyone fall for the first person they set eyes upon, making for a magical May Week adventure... This sold-out show starred original student choreography performed by some of Cambridge's best dancing talent. The dancing was accompanied by a live orchestra whose beautiful rendition of Mendelssohn's score ensured it was treat for the ears as well as the eyes. |
